I love the English language. Sometimes I just look at words and listen to them spoken and wonder how that sound, which sounds a bit silly when you say it honestly, can mean something. Like like. Look at like for a second and it makes you wonder who thought like would mean ‘admire’ or ‘is similar to’. Or grape. Not grapes, but one single grape. How did that come to mean a fruit from a vine with sweet juices and a green to purple-black skin? One grape.
These are the things I ponder while I read.
